Simba the Dog
Simba is a dog of unknown origin. That is, we know who her mother is, but her father..... That's a different story. She was born on May 10th, 1998. She is always up to "nogood", and truely enjoys it. She loves everybody she knows, and is scared of anybody she does not know. A marvellous watchdog :-)

A new, and long overdue, update on Simba's page. She is now two and a half years old, and is very slowly beginning to grow up. Maybe she will be a "grownup" by the age of 5????? We will just wait and see. I have been getting a few questions about whether I am going to breed her. The answer is no. She was spayed before she was 1 year, just to prevent any unwanted puppies. After all she is a crossbreed, and finding homes to the puppies could prove difficult. I will stick to breeding cats, and leave the dog-breeding to those who are dedicated to this. Simba is a dearly beloved pet, and not a breeding dog.

Our lovely dog is now 4 1/2 years old. Is she grown up yet? The answer is a big, fat NO. But she is a lot of fun to be around. She still love the cats "to bits", but the affection is not always returned :-). Tinka, Simba's mother died last year, she was 15 years when she died.

Simba has turned 5 and FINALY!!! I think she is growing up. She is still playing arround, but she behaves when this is needed. She even listens when I talk to her! She has always been quite obidient, and now she is behaving in public. Barking at the cats is always great fun, but one of them don't respond to this. This puzles Simba. The cat that will not react to barking is Emil. He just sits there as if he wants to ask: What are you barking at. Simba has tried everything to get him to react, but without any luck. She finaly gave up and tried to become friends with Emil instead. This was a lot easier. She has never let any of the cats near her food before, but Emil totally ignores her when she tries to chase him of her food. She has now given up and agrees to share her food white Emil. If that is not a sign of growing up, I don't know what is. She still chases birds and planes that fly in our airspace, but I think that's more a sign of her inteligence than of her maturity. Simba is a lovely dog, and we hope she will be with us for at least as many years as her mother lived. She has never been sick a day in her life. The only trips she has ever made to the vet, is her anual inoculation visits.
Please check back, more will be added.
